Bacon, cheese and onion Quiche

For the recipe

2 pie shells

8 eggs

1 1/2 cups heavy cream ( or half and half)

ten pieces thick bacon, crumbled

2 large onions sliced thin and sautéed to brown

2 cups cheddar cheese

salt and pepper to taste

stir it all together, put into your crust. place quiches into 400 degree oven.

cover loosely with tin foil for the first 45 minutes, remove foil and cook another 10 – 15 minutes until browned.   Let sit for ten minutes.  Slice, serve or cool and freeze.
