HIGHLIGHTS OF OUR DAY IN NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

These were amazing pork and chive dumplings form a chinese place at 118 Eldridge. Small, dirty, limited menu… delicious!
Nari Ward: we the people at the New Museum

It’s hard to tell but these are dresses. There were also head dresses. Im not going to go into is this art. They are creative took a greta deal of effort and are described to be reminiscences of Native peoples. Great…
From The Dominique Ansel website: Our signature item, the DKA (short for “Dominique’s Kouign Amann”) is a smaller version of the traditional Breton pastry, which is similar to a caramelized croissant. A crispy, caramelized crust on the outside gives way to a flaky and tender crumb within.

Of course we had to try the cronut which did not thrill us, the chocolate cake with meringue bits, and a couple of cookies which we will be trying later this evening.

I never take advantage of the Morgan Its a fabulous place with small manageable exhibits. The hard part is being in the library and not being able to touch the books.
Dinner at Paname, our neighborhood french restaurant. Delicious as usual. A really good caesar with small flavorful croutons, a great steak and MARVELOUS french fries and a nice piece of salmon.
A huge day….
