Is anyone else willing there days with nothing and wonderful.
I am struggling to make sense of this new life.
I certainly have time to do all the things I have wanted to do. I have endless hours in which to read, as we all know I now bake and have added to my repertoire of yummy food selections. But I also have time to exercise at which I am getting better. And I have been enjoying the Barnes Take Out videos, and yesterday came across similar from the Frick. And then this arrived in my inbox.
Its from the Guggenheim Museum in New York from a little known program run by a friend called Works & Process. When we were living in the city we tried to go as often as we could. It was one of those things that we would walk hime and really talk about.
So, this came in and I tried to sit still, and watch, and relax into it… But it wasn’t easy…
Then this came in and, well, it’s back to doom scrolling!
And I finally finished reading The Henna Artist.
Vivid and compelling in its portrait of one woman’s struggle for fulfillment in a society pivoting between the traditional and the modern, The Henna Artist opens a door into a world that is at once lush and fascinating, stark and cruel.
